Martha de Zayas is currently the Vice President of Global Ethics and Compliance for Carnival Corporation. In this role, she is responsible for the company’s privacy practice and document retention program, anti-money laundering program, anti-corruption and bribery program, economic sanctions program, Code of Conduct, hotline and ADA compliance.

Prior to assuming her current role, Martha served as Assistant General Counsel of Carnival Corporation responsible for managing commercial litigation and employment matters. She has been with the company since 1995, when she joined as Associate General Counsel.

Martha practiced at the law firm of Mershon, Sawyer, Johnston, Dunwoody & Cole before joining Carnival. Prior to that, she was an associate at the law firm of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius. She received her Bachelor in Business Administration, majoring in Finance from the University of Miami. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law. She is a member of the Florida Bar as well as being admitted to practice in the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
