As the Health, Safety and Security (HSS) Corporate Compliance Manager, Gerry ensures the regulatory compliance and effectiveness of our global HSS programs, as well as monitors the Maritime Policy and Analysis department to maintain compliance with applicable HSS-related policies and procedures.
Gerry has more than 40 years of industry experience, including over 23 years with Carnival Corporation. His experience includes 18 years at sea in a range of positions (Deck Officer to Captain) on a variety of ships (tankers, container ships, ferries, private yachts, cruise ships). His shoreside management positions have included: Marine Operations Manager, Port Operations Manager, Director of Port Development, Director of Compliance, Director of Shipbuilding and Design, Director of Safety Policy, and Vice President, Marine and Technical Operations.
