RESULTS OF CARNIVAL CORPORATION & PLC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS

MIAMI (April 23, 2004) -- Carnival Corporation & plc (NYSE/LSE: CCL; NYSE: CUK) announces that at its annual general meetings held yesterday in New York, all of the resolutions recommended by the board of directors were passed. The results of the polls conducted at the annual general meetings of Carnival Corporation & plc will be available shortly on the company's Web sites www.carnivalcorp.com and www.carnivalplc.com.

All resolutions passed by the company other than resolutions concerning ordinary business have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority, and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, which is situated at:
