Cruise from WA to Bali for an Exotic Sleepover
P&O Cruises is introducing a different way for holidaymakers to experience Indonesia with its cruises from Fremantle now offering a sleepover in Bali.
Already a beloved holiday destination for many Australians, P&O is making a cruise to the region more appealing with its first overnight stay on April 13, 2017.
The overnight call features in the cruise line's 12-day Indonesian cruises departing Fremantle on April 9 and May 28, 2017, which also include visits to Komodo Island, Lombok and Probolinggo. The May departure is priced from $899* per person quad share.
With more time available, P&O is offering a range of immersive shore excursions including a traditional Balinese farming experience where guests travel to a village and spend a day with a local family, working in a rice paddy as well as harvesting coconuts. Other popular day trips include whitewater rafting on the Ayung River and a tour taking in Uluwatu Temple and the picturesque Bukit Peninsula.
P&O Cruises President Sture Myrmell said the cruise line was excited about its new Indonesian itinerary which provided more time for guests to enjoy Bali from dawn to dusk.

The new itinerary is part of P&O's biggest Fremantle season with one of its latest ships, the 1500-guest Pacific Eden, returning for a three-month season from April 9 to July 3, 2017.
Among the 14 cruises on offer will be the cruise line's first sailings to the Kimberley with the inaugural cruise call to Kuri Bay – a remote coastal bay north of Broome boasting magnificent red rock escarpments and a turquoise bay – scheduled for May 20.
During their visit, guests will be able to explore the spectacular wilderness of the Kimberley by foot or air, visit a Paspaley pearl farm, take an indigenous tour or spot local wildlife including crocodiles.
