From Greenland to Greece, from the Caribbean to the Canary Islands: The 2019/20 AIDA year is going to be as diverse as the regions on this earth. In its new catalog "My hotel shows me the world," AIDA presents unforgettable vacation experiences, the most beautiful destinations, and vibrant cities for the travel period March 2019 to April 2020, along with a glimpse of the 2020 summer season. All 2019 summer season and 2019/2020 winter season cruises can be booked starting on February 20, 2018.

From four German ports to way up north

With the variety of cruises to Northern Europe in 2019 and 2020, there's just the right AIDA "dream hotel" for every preference.

Departing from Hamburg, AIDAperla alternately travels to the most beautiful cosmopolitan hubs in Western Europe and to fascinating landscapes in Norway over seven days. In 2019, AIDAmar will also be departing from the Hanseatic City on seven-day city tours to bustling London or elegant Paris. Farther up north, to Norway's fjords, AIDAsol takes guests on a ten-day voyage that extends the season in Germany to the end of October. For the first time, AIDAaura is sailing to the Danish seaport city of Aalborg in the region of Jutland on the new nine-day cruise "Southern Scandinavia & Danzig." Brand new ports include Portree on the Isle of Skye, Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis, and Killybegs in Ireland on the twelve-day AIDA Selection cruise "Scottish Islands and Ireland" with AIDAaura from/to Hamburg.

Big and small guests can look forward to enchanting days in "Great Britain and Ireland" on 14-day cruises with AIDAaura. In addition to Liverpool in North West England, there is a magical excursion à la Harry Potter: On the tracks of the Hogwarts Express, guests take a steam train and cross the Glenfinnan viaduct between Fort William and Mallaig in Scotland. And the Rostock company has come up with something very special for the new "Bay of Biscay" route as well: After an overnight stay in Amsterdam and a short visit to the Isle of Portland, guests can enjoy Saint-Malo and Brest where AIDAaura docks for two days. From the west coast of France, the voyage continues to Northern Spain with the cultural city Bilbao, the Guggenheim Museum, and the large coastal city Gijon.

Between July and September 2019, AIDAcara will be departing from Bremerhaven on three 21-day cruises to Iceland and Greenland. From Kiel and Warnemünde, AIDA ships will be traveling to some of the most beautiful cities in Scandinavia, including Gothenburg and Copenhagen, Aarhus and Stavanger. Norway's most impressive natural wonders are on the program for AIDAprima from/to Kiel and her sister ship AIDAperla from/to Hamburg with the new port Nordfjordeid. And, for the first time, AIDAprima will be departing from Kiel on seven-day Baltic Sea cruises with stops in Stockholm and Nynäshamn.

When Northern Europe's sun stops setting in summer, guests can take their time exploring a city on the route "Baltic Sea Archipelagos": AIDAaura will anchor in the Swedish capital Stockholm for two days. At the same time, the three ports Vaasa, Sundsvall and Saaremaa beckon to be discovered on this new twelve-day Selection cruise. To allow AIDA guests to enjoy the dream destination Baltic Sea even longer, AIDAmar will be traveling this region with its unique combination of historical attractions and a hip cultural scene until the end of September.

Off to the south!

AIDAnova is heading for the Mediterranean for the first time. After an extended season on the Canary Islands until April 2019, and again from November 2019 to March 2020, the ship is taking guests on one-week cruises to "Mediterranean Treasures 1 & 2" such as La Spezia and Marseille in the summer of 2019. Guests will have lots of time for winter highlights from Majorca to Rome/Civitavecchia, Florence/Livorno, Marseille and Barcelona on seven-day cruises with AIDAsol. There'll be lots of fun in the sun next year on the Adria. Fascinating destinations such as the Cyclades island Santorini and the Croatian pearl Dubrovnik are highlights on the seven- and nine-day cruises with AIDAblu from/to Venice.

When wanderlust strikes

AIDAvita is spending the winter of 2019 in Asia. On the now 14-day Selection cruise "Singapore and Indonesia with Bali," vacationers can enjoy longer stays on the (vacation) island of the gods and in the "lion city" of Singapore. Australia and Indonesia" are back on the AIDA travel itinerary too. On its 21-day Selection cruise, AIDAvita will be visiting Darwin, the capital of the Northern Territory, Komodo, Lombok, Bali, and more. Exciting New Year's Eve highlights include not only Hong Kong, Singapore and Abu Dhabi, but also the European ports Funchal, Tenerife and Lisbon.
